Sometimes the weight of reality seems too much to bear. It is generally agreed that taking some time away from one's normal routine is the greatest medicine for a troubled mind, and this is the advice given by experts in psychology. It's understandable that in the face many of us look for ways to escape cancel culture, unending demand to be flawless, and ongoing social change; for many of us, a fake mental breakdown is one such way out that is gaining popularity.

We're going through some unusual difficulties in our lives right now. Many things are going on right now, contributing to people having identity crises, societal pressure, social media, and being reactive to the political atmosphere. Some people, especially members of generation z, have had an identity crisis due to these difficulties, looking for new ways to deal with their feelings and make sense of their lives.

The staged psychotic breakdown is one such means of egress. The idea of a staged mental breakdown has been examined in literature and popular culture for decades. To avoid dealing with our true lives, some people deliberately mimic psychotic symptoms such as delusions and distorted thought processes. By physically separating themselves from their difficulties, this action might give people a sense of mastery over their feelings and circumstances.

The idea of acting out a psychotic break could initially seem frightening or even harmful. Yet, for many members of Generation Z, it's a means of temporary escape from the strains of daily life and entry into another universe. This "fake" break provides a safe space for people to experiment with their identities and emotions in a manner that would not be feasible in their regular lives. For many members of Generation Z, the real world is cold and merciless. It's easy to feel overwhelmed and stressed in today's continual bombardment of information on social media and the pressure to do well in school and social situations. Pretending to have a psychotic break is a great way to escape reality and concentrate on one's needs.

The current generation, Gen Z, has a heightened awareness of societal concerns. Anxiety and despair may result from the widespread prevalence of cancel culture, in which people are afraid to express disagreement for fear of being socially isolated. Confusion and doubt may also result from feminism, societal upheaval, and the promotion of the LGBTQ community. Some people may seek refuge from the world because of the sense of alienation and loneliness these problems might cause.

To effectively deal with life's ups and downs, people should work on developing and using appropriate coping strategies. Mindfulness is one technique used for this purpose, and it entails paying attention to and accepting one's internal experiences as they are. It may aid in managing one's emotions, making dealing with stress and worry easier.
